About Heavyweight Construction:
Thicker X-bands for increased strength matte finish with green bottom veneer Zion’s 'Bad Gator' (art by Clay Halling) gets the Heavyweights treatment this drop, a board construction that Deluxe haven’t offered since 2017. Featuring 2 thicker cross-directional X-Band plies and stiffer glue, Heavyweights is made for skaters looking for a board that holds up to heavier impact. Zion is riding these full time and got a heel bruise trying to stomp one, so take that for what it’s worth.
